Ronald Koeman's Everton are the latest team to show their interest in Thomas Vermaelen. The Barcelona defender may return to the Premier League after leaving Arsenal for Barcelona.
Koeman is the main backer of Vermaelen at Everton, after he coincided with him at Ajax. Injury to Funes Mori has demanded a reaction from the Toffees and The Sun say Vermaelen is the target after he did well in the top flight with Arsenal.
With the World Cup on the horizon, Vermaelen would like to leave to get some game time and he will be behind Umtiti, Pique and Mascherano at Barcelona, as well as Inigo Martinez who is on the way.
