The former Barca player and Real Sociedad coach thinks Riqui Puig should be backed
Former Barcelona player Eusebio Sacristan is against the club signing Miralem Pjanic as a trade with Juve. Speaking to Esports COPE, the coach said that "seeing the possible breakthrough of Riqui Puig, I would not bring another midfielder."
Eusebio thinks the deal is to do with economics. "I see the economic interest but another player coming makes it hard for the coach to give minutes to the youth player. I think Riqui Puig is adjusted to the position.
The former Real Sociedad coach added: "I see that maybe (Setien) wants to give (youth playerS) more time but he also has to respect the players who deserve respect at the club because they have earned it. I'm convinced that he will give them more minutes. There are seven weeks to go and the level the kids have shown will make the rest of the players stronger, counting on the young players."
