The father of Ansu understands the young winger's situation at the club
Ansu Fati is one of the sensations of world football. With barely 17 years of age he's been a protagonist in various important moments this season. The Spaniard was given a chance by Valverde and Quique Setien has been using him too.
However he's not played regularly from the off. His father Bori understands that. "He cannot be a starter at Barcelona for now, he has a long way to go," he told El Larguero. "You're talking about Barcelona, not Alaves or Mallorca. Barca is huge, he's got a lot to learn to compete for a place with the sharks that are there, who are some of the best in the world."
Man United have been linked to him. "I've heard that but I don't know," added Bori. "We are happy at Barca, we're a Barca family. Everyone who leaves Barca later wants to come back. Ansu is enjoying his dreams here so why would he want more. He owes a lot to Barcelona, I'm happy here and I can't imagine not being here. I don't know the truth over if Man United have asked over Ansu."
