The radio show says he put pen to paper with the Catalans months ago
Antoine Griezmann and Barcelona agreed for the French striker to join in March, per El Larguero, who said that the deal has been physically signed.
The show, on Cadena SER radio, explained the two parties had been talking since November but it was in March that everything was sealed.
That was during the period that Atletico were facing Cristian Ronaldo’s Juventus in the Champions League and were eliminated.
El Larguero say documental proof will come out soon of the deal.
Griezmann has a contract with Atletico until 2020 with a release clause of 200m, which will drop to 120m in July.
