Lenglet: Griezmann is one of the best three players in La Liga
The Barcelona defender was full of praise for his French teammate
Clement Lenglet praised France teamates Antoine Griezmann and Samuel Umtiti in a press conference at Clairefontaine on Thursday.
"Griezmann's one of the best three or four players in La Liga," he said when asked about the Atletico Madrid forward possibly joining him at Barcelona next season.
As for Umtiti, whose place he's taken at Camp Nou, he said the two get on really well despite the competition for places.
"Sam's made me feel really comfortable, he's been a great host and we have a great relationship as French players at a foreign club spending a lot of time together," he said. "The competition is good forr us."
The roles are reversed with France, where Umtiti is a starter: "Of course it's normal that I am behind Sam. He's played in a European Championship final, he's won the World Cup and has played a lot of god games."
France have a friendly against Bolivia and then qualifiers against Turkey and Andorra in the coming weeks.
"I'm ready if the coach calls on me," Lenglet added. "I have to learn from my teammates and enjoy myself. I am proude to be with the national team and if I get some minutes, I have to respond."
