Early start for the Barcelona players, with an eye on the first test

The Barça camp got up early this Tuesday morning to continue with their preparation while waiting for the team's pre-season arrivals and departures to be sorted out. Xavi has summoned the team very early today in the Ciutat Esportiva, for the first of what will be a double training session, with the second session of training planned in the afternoon.

As the azulgranas work, they would no doubt keep in mind their first test of the preseason, which is their upcoming match against Olot this Wednesday. This second week of training will be utilized to fine-tune all the players, including all the internationals who returned yesterday, before departing for the United States for their imminent tour.

In what is the second day of this weeks’ training sessions, Xavi has already been able to find confidence in the international players who returned to train, who are working towards being ready to travel to the tour. Ferran Torres was the only notable absentee due to his foot injury, as explained yesterday by the club itself.
