The Uruguayan forward said that it's normal Griez would want to go for more money

Diego Forlan says Atletico Madrid complaining about Barcelona coming for Antoine Griezmann is hypocritical. The Uruguayan forward, currently playing in Hong Kong, spoke on El Transistor on Onda Cero, and did not think his previous club had much to complain about.

"I understand these situations. I've lived through them," said the hitman. "When I left Uruguay to play abroad, it was to earn more money, firstly in Argentina and then in England. That happens as you improve. It's the same with Griezmann. If we say that people are angry with a player then we're forgetting when we bought him from Real Sociedad, just like Barcelona want to do today.

"If you do it yourself, you can't complain when somebody else does it. If someone wants to leave, they will go and we must respect that he is a professional. I wonder if fans complaining about Griezmann would turn down the offer of much higher wages for their own jobs."
