The Brazilian came on for Dembele for the final 20 minutes vs. La Real

Philippe Coutinho was whistled by sections of Camp Nou when he came on in Barcelona's win against Real Sociedad on Saturday. He was also whistled when he touched the ball. The reason is that the supporters don't seem to have forgiven him for his goal celebration against Manchester United.

In the second leg of the Champions League quarter final, after scoring a great long range goal, his cupped his hands to his ears in front of the home support. It's not clear who the gesture was directed at, although the Brazilian offered half an explanation on social media.

"We should never listen to people that demotivate us, because there words only serve to steer us away from what we should be focusing on," he said. "Never in my life have I disrespected anyone inside or outside football."

The Brazilian was a substitute against La Real as Barça won 2-1 to move within two wins of the league title. He came on for Ousmane Dembele for the final 20 minutes.
