The Brazilian superstar gave a very honest interview to the YouTube channel 'De Sola' about his form, that celebration, Messi and more

FC Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho has given an interview to Brazilian YouTube channel 'Da Sola' where he spoke about his form, Leo Messi and Neymar and many other things.

Coutinho is one of the most talked about players this week. Not only because of his great goal against Manchester United in the Champions League but also the way, and gesture, as he celebrated it. "I believe everyone needs time to adapt. I've been here for a year and a couple of months, if I'm not mistaken, but I've always been ready to learn, to evolve, grow and prove myself out on the pitch."

"This season hasn't been the best, or rather one of the best, from a personal point of view. But I've had that desire to learn and every match is another opportunity. I live in the moment and on Sunday there's a match. I'm not thinking about any other or what's coming next. I want to live in the moment and change this situation, but everything comes being calm, working hard and having a clear head."

Coutinho also spoke about the players he shares a dressing room with at the Camp Nou. "It's similar to what I'm used to with Brazil. The criticism is harsh but I don't look at that. When you play well, they really kind to you but that's why I like to remain grounded. When you play well, you aren't God. And when you play badly nor are you the worst player in the world. You need to have a strong mentality.

Messi

On specific names he surrounds himself with at Barça, Coutinho said this on Leo Messi: "It's a massive honour to play alongside him, to see him inside the dressing room, to see how your idol reacts. For me, it's a great honour. Everything he does, he makes look easy and we love that."

Luis Suárez

"Luis Suárez is a special person for me. When I arrived at Liverpool, he helped me to adapt a lot. Not just me but also my family too. He's also helped me a lot here too. We spend a lot of time together. He's special for us."

Neymar

"Playing with Neymar, as I've said before, is a great honour. He's incredible. We've spent a lot of time together in the youth teams with Brazil. I saw what made him special. What he did then is exactly what he does now. Playing alongside him is a pleasure but I've yet to do that at club level. It would be great to play alongside him."

And lastly Coutinho was asked about the differences between LaLiga and the Premier League. "Here the football is much faster and teams try to play (with the ball on the ground). But when you play for Barça a lot of teams sit deep. The Premier League is more intense, more open."
