Chongqing Dangdai Lifan offer Iniesta 81 million euros!
The midfielder will have a three-year contract, pocketing 27 million per season.The club will also buy six million wine bottles for 36 million euros
Andres Iniesta is close to signing the contract of his life. According to El Mundo, Chinese Super Club Chongquing Dangdai Lifan, owned by Jiang Lizhang, will offer him 27 million euros per season over three years, practically tripling what he earns at Barcelona.
Jiang Lizhang, shareholder for NBA team Minnesota Timberwolves and also the owner of Granada, Parma and Chongqing Dangdai Lifan, could make Iniesta one of the best paid players in the world, only trailing Messi and Neymar.
There is also a clause in the contract which could be key to Iniesta accepting the offer.
The club have committed to buy six million bottles from his wine comapany Bodegas Iniesta at six euro per bottle, meaning if he completes his three-year contract he will earn an extra 36 million euros as well as giving his company a huge international boost by entering into the Chinese market.
Iniesta will also be able to make even more money through his image rights, which he will share 50 percent with the club.
