Chiellini not badly injured, hoping to make Barca clash
Juventus's captain went off injured against Dinamo Kiev on Tuesday night
Giorgio Chiellini, Juventus's defender and captain, took medical tests on Wednesday which confirmed he doesn't have a serious hamstring injury after he was forced off against Dinamo Kiev in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Italians said, in a medical statement, that he has no muscular injury. The 36-year-old will miss the league game against Hellas Verona at home on Saturday and will hope he can face Barca on Wednesday October 28.
The Italian missed almost all of last season through injury and went off after 19 mins of the 2-0 win over Kiev.
Quarantined star Cristiano Ronaldo is also a doubt as he needs to test negative for coronavirus ahead of the game.
