The coronavirus crisis has left the Dane's future up in the air

Martin Braithwaite joined Barcelona in February in good form and Quique Setien was slowly bringing him into the team more and more.

Braithwaite came on as a substitute in his first two games and then started against Real Sociedad at Camp Nou, Barça's final game before the coronavirus enforced break.

In total, the Danish striker has played 128 minutes since he signed from Leganes for €18m and they could be the last if the season ends up being canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Braithwaite will not be able to play for Denmark this summer, either, after the European Championships was moved to 2021.

Barça paid Braithwaite's release clause once they were given permission to make an emergency signing due to the injury to Ousmane Dembele.

He started well against Eibar, helping to create two goals off the bench, and then came on in the Clasico against Real Madrid. He then started against La Real, producing a good performance in the first half.
