Bayern still can't stop talking about Barça even when they're in the final

Franz Beckenbauer, who is the honorary president of Bayern Munich, has added his voice to the many criticisms levelled at Barça by the German camp. And whilst his words might ring true, it feels unnecessary considering they are now in the final of the Champions League.

Ahead of the final, Beckenbauer gave his thoughts on Bayern's opponents: PSG. And even though he could praise the French side without taking a dig at Barça, it was an opportunity he didn't want to miss.

"When Bayern played against Barcelona, I always had the impression that they had weak points and we could exploit them. That isn't the case with PSG, they don't have any weak points. Even when you compare Neymar and Mbappe, there's no player who is at their level," he told 'Sport1'. 

"I like PSG. It's a balanced, complete side but we have incredible players and all of them are in great form. They've made very few errors and if they do, there's Neuer - a world-class goalkeeper - who can cover for any mistake."
