Sporting director Salihamidžić says the club won't listen to offers

A new chapter in the Robert Lewandowski saga. Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić has told Sky 90 that the club are not even considering the exit of the Polish striker in the transfer window, despite the fact his contract expires in 2023.

Asked if the club would think about an offer of around 40-50 million euros, Salihamidžić quickly said no, assuring that he will remain at the club as he has a contract in vigour.

"Obviously we want to keep him," Salihamidžić said. "We really appreciate him, but he's the biggest earner at the club and we also have to be careful about our financial possibilities and how much money we have."

Salihamidžić also commented that he's "spoken with Lewandiwskli and his agent" and added that they have "all the time in the world" but that "we have still not started negotiations, but we will now."

With regards to a move for Erling Haaland, he finished: "We have the best striker in the world, Lewandowski, there would be no place (for Haaland)."
