Barcelona are interested in signing the Bayern striker this summer

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has said the situation regarding his future "is not easy for me" as he announced a meeting with the club this week.

Lewandowski scored on Saturday as Bayern beat Borussia Dortmund to win the Bundesliga for a 10th year in a row, but he would not commit to staying at the club beyond this season.

“I read what was in the media, but I haven’t heard anything from the club,” the Poland star said. “A meeting is coming soon, but I don’t know what will happen either. I also see what’s happening, it’s not that easy for me.”

Barcelona are among the clubs interested in Lewandowski, who is out of contract with Bayern in 2023 and has not yet agreed new terms with the German champions.

Lewandowski, 33, is thought to be annoyed at how long it's taken Bayern to renew his deal, with Barça following the situation in the event he becomes available this summer.

Barça president Joan Laporta said last week there is a "possibility" that Barça sign the striker, who was named FIFA's The Best earlier this year. Coach Xavi Hernandez wants more attacking options.
