The president says there will be signings but didn't reveal who

However, he says not all the money will go on Valverde's squad

Josep Maria Bartomeu spoke at the 38the Congreso Mundial de Peñas in Barcelona on Monday, first about Neymar's departure to Paris Saint-Germain this week.

Barça presdient Bartomeu was critical of the Brazilian, before speaking about what the club will do with the 222 million euros they have received for him.

"I can't tell you who will come," he said. "We have total confidence in [sporting director] Robert Fernandez. What's clear is that players will come to continue this winning era. The first was [Nelson] Semedo, but more will arrive."

Neymar's departure also breaks up the famous MSN. Bartomeu said that "we won't speak about the trident anymore" but "about the team and the style of play."

He continued: "We have [Lionel] Messi, who is the best player in the world and one of the best in history. He will continue to be our leader."

Again on the money, he said: "We will invest the 222 million euros with common sense. We will invest it in players and assets -- it won’t all go on signings."
