Barcelona's ultimatum for B-team coach Sergi Barjuan
The reserves are struggling and aren't far above the drop zone in Segunda B
Barcelona B are in a delicate situation. They are 13th in the table, two points above relegation and in a delicate spot. They have taken just five of the last 30 points available. Club sources say that if there is no immediate reaction, Sergi Barjuan could be sacked.
Barcelona are worried about the B team, more for the dynamic and the performances than the table, because the play-offs are also only six points away.
The game on Saturday against Linares could be decisive, if Barcelona don’t win.
Nico, Gavi, Jutgla, Abde and sometimes Alvaro Sanz’s promotions to the first team has hurt Barca B. Plus Balde and Jandro Orellana’s injuries have also not helped.
We’ll see what happens next weekend with potentially Jutgla and Abde back, or maybe they will be back with the first team against Espanyol.
