Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto has already begun his recovery from a hamstring strain. His teammate Rafinha, who is also fighting to get back on the pitch as soon as possible, has confirmed as much. The Brazilian shared a photograph on social media where Sergi Roberto can be seen doing recovery work at the Ciudad Deportiva de Sant Joan Despí.
Barça are waiting to find out what tests on Wednesday morning will reveal about the extent of the injury which Roberto suffered in Tuesday's draw with Olympiakos. He had to go off just before halftime, replaced by Gerard Deulofeu, but the club have not yet confirmed how long he will be missing for.
It's a tough blow for Sergi Roberto who was getting regular football under Ernesto Valverde and was in good form. He is currently working hard to try and get back in Julen Lopetegui's Spain squad for next summer's World Cup in Russia.
