Barcelona hope to announce the signing of Arthur extremely soon. The deal to bring the midfielder to the Camp Nou is complete and they are just waiting for the relevent documents to arrive before the Brazilian travels to Spain. The current plan is for the footballer to travel on Saturday so that he'll arrive in Barcelona on Sunday. His official presentation would take place next week. Arthur will give a press conference in the next few hours where he'll say his goodbyes to the club, its fans and then pack his bags for his European adventure.
Everything is in agreement but only minor details are holding up the official announcement of the transfer, which should be confirmed later today. He will be the first reinforcement for Ernesto Valverde this summer alongside Clement Lenglet. The Sevilla defender is expected to complete his move to the Camp Nou next week when Barça deposit his buyout clause with the league.
