Barcelona will sign a No 9 when Munir El Haddadi leaves
The club is negotiating an exit for Munir with Sevilla at the moment
FC Barcelona are looking in the winter market for a centre forward to recompense for the exit of Munir El Haddadi in the coming weeks. They want to find a formula similar to that which brought in Jeison Murillo on loan from Valencia.
Barca are working on two fronts regarding Munir. One one hand the club executives are negotiating with Sevilla to get a transfer fee for the forward, whose contract expires in June after he rejected two offers to renew it. On the other hand they are searching the market.
The intention is to get a striker who would be behind the likes of Messi, Suarez, Dembele, Coutinho and even Malcom.
Valverde wants to avoid a Rabiot-PSG case, where the player is consigned to the sidelines for the rest of the season. IN this sense Munir would come out winning if he leaves now, because he can then play.
Barca hope their good relationship with Sevilla will them them reach a good deal.
