Barcelona want to sign David Luiz in January
Acording to the Express the Catalan club are in for the Chelsea defender
Barcelona have reactivated their interest in David Luiz, per The Express.
The English newspaper on Sunday inform that the Catalans want the 31-year-old Brazilian Chelsea centre-back, whose contract ends at the end of the season.
That means Chelsea are willing to negotiate his departure in January, before he can walk away for free next summer.
Chelsea have a policy of only offering one more year of contract to older players in this situation, an offer that David Luiz will reject.
The Brazilian is happy that with Sarri he is getting good game time at Stamford Bridge, where injuries and other problems with Antonio Conte saw him left out before.
