The first leg will be at Camp Nou and the return at Anfield

The Champions League semifinals are set. Barcelona will face Liverpool at the final hurdle before the final, which will be played at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano on June 1.

Jurgen Klopp's side overcame Porto in the quarterfinal on Wednesday, winning 4-1 at the Estadio do Dragao to seal a 6-1 aggregate win. The Premier League team were comfortable winners over the 180 minutes. The Portuguese side never looked in the tie.

Barça will host Liverpool at Camp Nou in the first leg on April 30 or May 1. The second leg, which will decide who progresses to the final, will be at Anfield on May 7 or May 8.

It's the same order of games as when the sides met in 2006-07. On that occasion, the English side won 1-2 in Catalonia and lost 0-1 at home, reaching the next round courtesy of the away goals rule.

The other semifinal will be between Ajax and Tottenham.
