How much are Barcelona saving with Christensen and Kessie deals?
The defender and midfielders are not going to stay with Chelsea and Milan
Barcelona are close to making two signings of high value at zero cost. They are moving for Andreas Christensen and Franck Yannick Kessie without paying a fee as their contracts are up with Chelsea and Milan respectively.
Per Transfermarkt, that is saving the club 83 million euros in fees. Kessie is worth 48 million, while Christensen is valued at 35m. In total, 83m that Barcelona will not have to invest in those positions.
They are two young players, both 25, with room to progress. Milan and Chelsea were interested in keeping them but they want to come to Barcelona.
