Barcelona players exodus ahead of Champions League
Messi and Suarez went to Ibiza with their families after the season
After training on Tuesday, Barcelona players hit the road. They headed to the airport to take holiday ahead of the clash with Napoli in the Champions League.
The images of them going away have created controversy given the recommendations from Catalonia's government that people stay in Barcelona and do not travel in the pandemic.
Messi and Suarez took a private jet to Ibiza to have some sun and beach days, while Gearrd Pique and Shakira went to Iceland to relax. Ter Stegen, Arthur, Sergi Roberto, Umtiti and Griezmann travelled too.
The players have a week off more or less and the next game is against Napoli on August 8.
