Barcelona player ratings: Messi and Alba shine in easy win

TER STEGEN (7) The German was stood watching as Sergio Leon's shot hit the crossbar. Apart from that moment, he didn't have much to do, although did make a late save from Berenguer.

SERGI ROBERTO (8) Improved as the game went on. In fact, in the second half he was very good, only let down by his final ball. Great display of his energy levels. 

PIQUE (7) The speed of Sergio Leon caught him out at the beginning of the second half. Umtiti was able to cover him from any problems in a game where the defenders had little to do in truth.

UMTITI (8) Good on the ball and linked well with Iniesta and Alba. Had a good headed chance, too. In the second hald he suffered a little more, but looks to be winning the battle with Mascherano. 

ALBA (8) Lively on the left with a lot of depth to his play. Created the first and secons goals. When he's in this form, he adds so much to the Barça team.

SERGIO BUSQUETS (7) Once again displayed a return to form, working well in defence and keeping possession ticking over. Involved in the first goal. 

ANDRE GOMES (6) Offered a 'plus' here. However, despute being picked ahead of Rakitic, his play is still too predictable. In the second half he improved, before being taken off. 

INIESTA (7) The team moves to his rhyhtm. Even had a dipping volley from outside the area which was just wide. 

MESSI (8) Had several chances and created chances, too, before eventually scoring his goal. His second goal was special, too, beating four players before slotting home in stoppage time. The best player on the pitch and now the top scorer in La Liga. 

SUAREZ (7) Two great chances in the first half and then scored in the second. A better performance than in recent weeks.

ARDA TURAN (5) A quiet game from Arda who was unable to repeat his exhibition against Borussia. Played in Neymar's position, but didn't offer many attacking solutions.
