Barcelona open to letting Ansu Fati go out on loan this season for minutes

There has been a lot of talk about the future of Ansu Fati in these last few days of the transfer window. The future of the Barcelona forward is uncertain, although there have been no clear steps towards a departure this month.

Barça would even open the door to a loan move and his entourage is aware of this. The objective is that he can have as many minutes as possible to regain his best level. For now, Ansu has not shown any interest in leaving, but the scene is open and anything can happen.

Xavi has already made it clear, as has Deco, that Ansu is part of the club's patrimony and an asset. In no case is the Catalan club going to sell the player, but they have also explained to him what his situation is and that he is in a clear disadvantage in terms of playing time.

Ahead of him in the rotations are Raphinha, Abde and Lamine Yamal and it is likely that Barça will sign another attacker before the market closes. He will not be a starter and could repeat what happened last season in which the player played very few minutes and hardly took part in the important matches.

Although his agent, Jorge Mendes, advised him to accept, the player closed ranks and the issue did not materialise in order to avoid major tensions.

Since then, Mendes has treated his case with the utmost delicacy because he knows that Ansu is not in favour of leaving. The agent has already done his job, but he understands that it is up to the club to convince the player to leave.

The home-grown player will again test his role in the team this weekend with Raphinha suspended. It seems that he will not be the one chosen to start in the eleven and that could be a blow.

Despite rumours that Ansu had opened the door to a move away, the club knows nothing about it and his personal entourage denies it categorically. So far he has not taken a step to leave and it is unlikely that he will do so, although he could change his mind in the last days of the market. The player is convinced of his possibilities, he is physically much better and sees options to fight for a place in the starting line-up.

Barça would even be willing to open the door to a loan if the player feels more comfortable in this way. He would maintain his links with Barça and could play in a team at the highest level and be much more of a protagonist.

It is an option that is on the table and that could be more attractive to top-level teams as it would not be such a risky operation. What is clear to Barça is that if Ansu does not leave, they will not sign another striker.
