The Blaugrana are negotiating with Toulouse who wanted to keep the player frozen out
Barcelona are close to sealing the transfer of Jean-Clare Todibo from Toulouse. The defender has already agreed to join the Catalans for free at the end of the season but the Blaugrana are looking to get him earlier to help the player develop.
The centre-back has been frozen out at his French side, made to train by himself and excluded from the squad, and Barca are close to reaching an agreement for him to come to the Catalan capital early.
Barca don’t want him to effectively lose six months of his career. Toulouse’s president refused to negotiate at first, furious that Todibo is walking away for free, but now he is at last and a deal should be reached today.
