Barcelona will not give up hope in pursuit of Man City's Bernardo Silva

Aware that Manchester City's Bernardo Silva wants to move to Barcelona and play for Barça (in fact, this is what his agent Jorge Mendes has told them on more than one occasion), the Catalan club have not lost hope of signing Bernardo Silva.

The situation is very complicated and the club are aware of that. But they will not stop looking for all possible formulas until the transfer window closes on September 1 at 11:59 p.m.

For what is almost seen as a 'miracle' to happen right now, a series of events have to take place. The main one, let Frenkie de Jong leave, which remains quite complicated.

The Dutchman has agreed, through his representative, Ali Dursun, to listen to the club about the salary adjustment they need him to make. If that prospers, it seems almost impossible that he ends up leaving and, therefore, that Bernardo arrives.

With all these conditions on the table, the signing of the Portuguese player is not going to be forgotten (neither now nor in future transfer windows, of course). Mateu Alemany and company will continue to be very attentive and, despite the reluctance coming from Manchester, nothing is ruled out.
