Barcelona could offer up to 40 million euros for Leicester's Soyuncu
The Turkish international has had a stand out season in the Premier League
Barcelona are looking to shake up their defence this summer and are keen to move on Samuel Umtiti and Jean Clair Todibo.
That will leave them with Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet and Ronald Araujo as their centre-back options, so they would need to sign another defender.
One of their targets is the Manchester City youngster Eric Garcia, who left La Masia in 2017 and has told the Premier League he will not extend his deal, which runs until 2021.
According to The Sun, Barça have also lined up a move for Leicester City's Caglar Soyuncu, the 24-year-old Turkish international.
The report claims Barça are ready to pay around 40 million euros for the player, who helped the Foxes finish fifth in the Premier League, although they were in the race for the Champions League untill the final day of the season.
Speaking earlier this summer, Soyuncu's agent, Mustafa Dogru, revealed that Barça have been following his client for a long time and remain interested.
"It's possible that he could go to play in Barcelona this summer," he said. "Barça wanted to sign him before when he played with Altinordu. We spoke with them and they even made an offer."
