Barcelona fans had to pay double the price in their fan zone than Sevilla did

The Barcelona and Sevilla fan zones are not equal. On both sides there was face painting, music, various activities and beer. But the big difference between the two was in the beer. Not because the brands were different, but because the price was, of the essential liquid gold served up before a cup final.

While Sevilla fans got glasses of beer that cost two euros, Barcelona fans had to pay double, four euros, for the same quantity. The prices in each case were set by the company contracted to organise the Fan Zones. Barca's was ARAMARK, who also take charge of the catering at Camp Nou.

Despite the price of the beer, double Sevilla's price, Barcelona fans had virtually drunken all of it by mid-afternoon.
