A final is always a final. There will be plenty of sporting motives to enjoy Barcelona vs Sevilla in Madrid tonight, so that's why it's suspicious that the campaign to go on about the whistles for the national anthem in the media 'front line', each day, people running their mouths. Messi, Iniesta and N'Zonzi are not interesting any more it seems, and they only will be once the referee's whistle blows. You have to think that this campaign about whistles maybe is a way of provoking them into happening, so they can later talk about them.  A self-fulfilling prophecy.

They are trying to disguise a key fact, that Barcelona can win the eighth double in their history today, more or less, consoldidating their tyrannic reign over this competition. Barca can win the cup for the 30th time. The recent Champions League KO provoked some deep reflection at the club, wondering if their efforts in this cup has affected them elsewhere - should they play reserves so they are fresher for the UCL?

So they focus on the whistles, but really the team with the most respect for the cup is Barca. They have won it the most because they compete in it best. That is being undervalued. They should consider Barcelona the side that has done most to boost a cup which is in debt to the Blaugrana. Admitting that would be brave.
