Barça's Araujo on his challenge on Ronaldo: In no way is it a penalty
"I win the position and he falls, I am ahead of him and it can't be a foul"
Ronald Araujo could not believe German referee Tobias Stieler gave a penalty for his challenge on Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday.
Ronaldo scored the resulting penalty in the 13th minute to make it 1-0 as Juventus went on to beat Barcelona 3-0 and top their Champions League group-
Araujo said: "For me, it's not a penalty. I have seen the replay and I cannot see it at all. I win the position with my arm and he falls over. I am ahead of him, so it cannot be a foul by me."
The Uruguay international said even Ronaldo had doubts about it: "He told me that he would have to see it again. It's a mistake that damaged us, because it allowed Juve to take the lead and coming back from a goal down is difficult."

Koeman to ref post-Juve loss: "You have good friends in Italy"
Araujo said it wasn't the only mistake the referee made: "Of course it marks you because you know it's not a penalty and it generates anger. In addition, there was another clear penalty on Lionel Messi in the other area that wasn't given."
Aside from the refereeing errors, Araujo blamed a "lack of concentration" to explain the defeat against Juve.
He said: "We started poorly and gave up situations we shouldn't give up. Juve took advantage of that. We have to correct it. We are Barça and we have to move on."
