Barca statement after Sergio Busquets taken to hospital
The midfielder is doing okay and will be back as soon as he can
Barcelona have released a medical statement on Sergio Busquets after he was taken to hospital.
The Barcelona midfielder clashed heads with Stefan Savic in the 0-0 draw between his team and Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou on Saturday.
“The Barça first team player Sergio has facial bruising and a fissure in his upper jaw and is progressing favourably. His recovery will dictate his availability,” said the club.
He went off in the 32nd minute against Atletico, his 47th game of the season across all competitions.
Ilaix Moriba replaced him in the goalless draw.
