If Valverde's men are able to secure wins in all three matches this week, they'll be crowned LaLiga champions

FC Barcelona could secure the LaLiga crown in the next eight days. This allows the club to wrap up domestic proceedings in order to focus on the goal of reclaiming the Champions League title. If they emerge victorious in the three contests, Barça will be confirmed as LaLiga winners against Levante at the Camp Nou.

This evening Real Sociedad are the visitors to the Camp Nou before they go to Vitoria to face Alaves on Tuesday. Then, next Saturday, they take on struggling Levante in front of their own fans once again.

Wrapping up LaLiga before the Champions League semi-final

Valverde wants nine points from the next three games to leave the route to the Champions League title as easy as possible. As soon as the league is over with, focus can switch entirely to European glory and a tough two-legged contest with Liverpool. This will be in stark contrast to the English side who are likely to fight until the final week in order to secure the Premier League.

Due to the ease of the victory over Manchester United last week, Valverde is expected to name his strongest side against Real Sociedad.

One eye on Atlético

The nine points Barça need also depends on Atletico Madrid's results. Diego Simeone's men face Eibar at Ipurua and, being essentially nine points behind thanks to a worse head-to-head record, they can't afford even a minor slip up.

If Atletico lose to Eibar, Barça only need six points to claim the title. Whilst Barça travel to Alaves on Tuesday, Atletico host Valencia at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday.

Celebrations at the Camp Nou?

If both sides manage to pick up victories today and midweek, it can all be decided next weekend. Atletico take on Valladolid next Saturday, just a few hours before Barça face Levante at the Camp Nou. A third victory would secure the LaLiga crown.

Once those matches are over with, attention will switch to Liverpool. Even if the league title hasn't been wrapped up before then, Valverde will have the opportunity to rest his players as Huesca are the opponents sandwiched between the Champions League matches.

Last chance

If need be, Barça could take as long as the matches against Getage - at home - and the final game week against Eibar.

On top of that, there's a Copa del Rey final to decide and it'll take place on the 25th May.
