Barça have until midnight on Monday to complete a deal for Neymar
The transfer window for both LaLiga and Ligue 1 closes at 23:59 on Monday 2nd September
There needs to be a point where Neymar's transfer situation is resolved. Whilst negotiations continue between Barça and PSG, there's a limit both of them must adhere to: 23:59 on Monday 2nd September.
That is when the summer transfer window officially closes for both LaLiga and Ligue 1.
The biggest story obviously surrounds Neymar and his potential return to LaLiga with Barça. No agreement is in place but deals can happen all the way up until the final hour of the window. Juventus are also in the race for Neymar but their window closes an hour earlier at 23:00. In the Bundesliga it's 18:00. The Premier League has already closed.
Usually, the window closes on the 31st August but as this falls on a Saturday, it's been extended until Monday.
All deals must be agreed before midnight on the 2nd but there's another option to extend that limit by a further two hours in order to make sure the paperwork is complete, not to prolong negotiations.
