The Dutch midfielder demolished Dest 5-1 over the weekend live on Instagram

Frenkie de Jong beat Sergiño Dest 5-1 on FIFA over the weekend in a game streamed on Facebook live by their Barcelona teammate Martin Braithwaite.

De Jong's Juventus were far too good for Dest's Bayern Munich, with Braithwaite and Gerard Pique among those following the clash in their hotel room from Barça's camp in Germany.

Despite the comments from Pique that "Frenkie vs. Dest is a low level," the reality is that the Dutchman is a great player with the control in his hands.

Speaking to SPORT, De Jong joked about the FIFA battles at Barça: "I beat Dest with Juve but Martin also beat him quite easily. Let's see if anyone can beat me (laughing)."

Asked about Sergi Roberto's level, who is also supposed to be good, De Jong said that "I think I played against him last year and I also won."

De Jong, a modest and discrete person, didn't have any problems with self-proclaiming himself the best FIFA player in the first team.

Always with a smile and a jokey tone, he replied to the question if anyone could beat him: "I don't know, maybe one of the youngsters is good, but I don't know anyone right now that's won more games than me."

Beyond the competition element, De Jong made it clear that "we just play some times to enjoy ourselves, like everyone. We train twice a day, we have to sleep as well and there's no much time. When you're playing you want to win, but of course the aim is to enjoy yourself. But of course I want to win!"
