Barça B: Konrad de la Fuente signs on until 2022
He extended his deal by two years and will keep developing at Barca B
As Sport revealed months ago, Konrad de la Fuente will stay at Barca. He extended his deal until 2022 at a private event today with Barca B director Xavier Vilajoana and sporting director Eric Abidal present.
The Miami winger will have a release clause of 50 million euros which will double if he makes it into the first team squad.
Konrad was "very happy to stay at the best club in the world" and did not hide that "my dream has always been to play in the first team, that's why I want to stay here to try and do that", although for now "the main objective is to get Barca B into Segunda A."
In this sense he said "having Garcia Pimienta as B team coach is very good, I had him at Juvenil B too".
RENEWALS
Other players in the B team have also extended their deals recently, with Nils, Álvaro Sanz and Arnau Tenas signing on. The circle will be completed with Sergi Rosanas and Mika, who will pen contracts on Monday and Tuesday.
