The transfer window might be closed but there's still plenty of work being done at Barça B. The majority of that work is related to the renewal of a star player and the arrival of a potential new one.
Konrad de la Fuente is seen as a key member of the team and someone with a bright future at the Camp Nou. His contract talks have taken a lot longer than expected but it's believed they have finally reached a positive conclusion. The American is already part of the B squad and the idea is to avoid losing promising talents who are on the verge of making the step up to senior football.

The 'Ramos Mingo saga' is almost over
Barça B are also set to be strengthened by the arrival of Santiago Ramos Mingo. The young defender is expected to put pen to paper on a long-term deal which will see him initially join up with the youth team but be available for Garcia Pimienta should he need extra competition at the back.
