Messi missed his country's friendlies at the end of March

Lionel Messi has got used to playing with physical problems due to the fatigue in his hamstrings. Despite the conservative treatment applied and the rest he enjoyed during the international break -- missing Argentina's games against Italy and Spain -- it's true that the Barcelona star is still not completely recovered.

In Argentina, they insist that Messi is still affected and use his perfomances in games as important as Barça's against Roma as evidence of that.

Meanwhile, Barça stay silent. Messi continues with his daily routine in training and there has been no statement from the club in his fitness. The problem started against Chelsea in the Champions League and was transmitted to Argentine, who didn't use him in either of their friendlies in March.

The break seemed to do him well and Messi returned to Barça, apparently, recovered from the muscle problems. He came on against Sevilla and has started the following four games. Now, according to the Argentine press, the hamstrings are still causing a problem ahead of this summer's World Cup.
