Ansu Fati aiming to break 95 year record
The Barca youth can make another record fall at his feet against Ukraine
No record resists Ansu Fati. Not with Barca nor the Spanish national team. Luis Enrique threw him on as a sub against Germany and Ansu shone again on his Spain debut.
Like he did with his Barcelona debut against Osasuna, he scored with a header, but this time it was ruled out by the referee for a foul by Sergio Ramos.
Ansu became the 800th Spain player and the second youngest of all-time. On Sunday against Ukraine, if he gets more minutes, he can break a 95-year-old record.
The Barca forward could become the youngest player in Spain's history if he nets.
Juan Errazquin netted in 1925 at 18 years and 344 days old against Switzerland, scoring a hat-trick. Ansu, on the day of the Ukraine clash, will be 17 years and 311 days old.
