Andres Iniesta's farewell announcement has a date

Andres Iniesta will announce his departure from Barcelona this Friday.

All is decided and Andres has told Barcelona that this Friday he wants to hold a press conference to announce the decision to leave Barça and start his new adventure in Chinese football.

After communicating his decision to the board and a select group of teammates, Iniesta will tell the rest of the squad in the next few hours before making the announcement public in a press conference on Friday which will take place at Barça's training ground at Sant Joan Despi.

Friday's announcement will be a personal act by Iniesta, while the club are planning a huge tribute to him for the final league game of the season at Camp Nou, against Real Sociedad, where he will lift the Liga trohpy after playing his last game on Barça's hallowed turf.
