Spain coach Julen Lopetegui said on Tuesday in Alicante that he has delighted in watching Andres Iniesta in the last few games for Barça and believes he can keep it up for his country at the World Cup in Russia.
"Andrés has had a very good season, like he did the year before, and he has always played at the highest level with us. We are delighted that he keeps playing this well and are excited about him keeping it up at the World Cup," said the national team's coach.

Lopetegui said he was proud of the fact that Iniesta was lauded by both sets of fans during the Copa del Rey final against Sevilla, adding "he has won over fans at every single stadium he's played at."
The coach did not want to speculate about Iniesta's future and his imminent departure to China.
"We aren't going to make any future predictions and we're going to enjoy having him with us," added the coach.
