Four current members of the squad aren't in Valverde's plans for next season and four that were out on loan last year need to resolve their futures soon

FC Barcelona are looking to resolve the future of eight of their current first team squad who aren't part of Ernesto Valverde's plans for the 2018/19 season. Some of them are players who featured under Valverde last season but haven't done enough to win the coach over, whilst others have been out on loan and the club is looking to find them another new home.

Some of the cases appear to be heading towards a positive conclusion should the current negotiations go well, such as the case of Andre Gomes. In other cases there is a lot of work to be done because they don't want to leave the Camp Nou (Yerry Mina) and for others it's hard to find a club for them (Douglas Pereira).

Here are all the details on the eight players who form part of the 'Operation: Exit' at Barcelona this summer:

ANDRÉ GOMES (Contract until 30-6-2021): The Portuguese international hasn't managed to fit in at the Camp Nou and he's even admitted as much himself. For his quality and still being relatively young, both parties are hoping to find a solution to reignite his career which has hit rock bottom after he wasn't picked for Portugal's World Cup squad in Russia. Valencia's General Director, Mateu Alemany, confirmed that they were interested in bringing back the midfielder who rose to prominence at Mestalla. Barcelona are open to selling Gomes but would accept a loan move should Valencia be willing to pay the player's wages in full.

PACO ALCÁCER (Contract until 30-6-2021): The Valencian striker is someone Barcelona would love to get off their books but the player is yet to admit defeat in his dream of making at Barcelona. Real Betis, as well as various teams in the Premier League, are interested in Alcacer but until now he remains committed to succeeding at the Camp Nou. Alcacer is willing to leave if it's to join a club with a strong project and one which can match the wages he currently earns at Barcelona.

ALEIX VIDAL (Contract until 30-6-2020): Vidal was very close to leaving the club in January and knows his future lies away from Barcelona. Although he was originally linked with a return to Sevilla as part of the Lenglet deal, the latest interest comes from Inter Milan. Valverde has used him largely as a winger in an attempt to improve his market value. Inter want a loan deal without an option to buy and Barcelona want to sell him in order to bring in around €8m. Aleix is open to offers.

YERRY MINA (Contract until 30-6-2023): After a few difficult months at Barcelona, the defender will feel vindicated by his performance for Colombia against Poland where he scored a goal and put in a good shift. After the match there were conflicting stories which came out regarding Mina's future. One said Mina wasn't willing to leave Barcelona and others said he'd never close the door on a return to his former club Palmeiras. Barcelona believe the World Cup is the ideal place to put Mina in the shop window and are awaiting offers for him.

RAFINHA ALCÁNTARA (Contract until 30-6-2020): The Brazilian midfielder accepted a loan move to Inter Milan in January and it's there where he has reactivated his career following a long spell on the sidelines. However Inter haven't executed their option to buy the midfielder and Barcelona are now managing offers from the biggest leagues in Europe as Rafinha needs to make a decision on his future.

MUNIR EL HADDADI (Contract until 30-6-2019): The capable forward is coming off the back of a fantastic season on loan at Alaves, scoring plenty of goals, and isn't short of offers from other Spanish clubs like Real Betis. He knows that after two consecutive loan deals his future lies away from the Camp Nou and is ready to leave. Barcelona hope to earn around €15m from Munir's sale.

SERGI SAMPER (Contract until 30-6-2019): Sergi is working as hard as possible to recover from the injury he suffered while on loan with Las Palmas. The midfielder wants to be ready to rejoin Barcelona's preseason training in order to prove his fitness but will look for another loan deal as he continues his development in Spain's top division.

DOUGLAS PEREIRA (Contract until 30-6-2019): One of the most surprising moves by Barcelona in recent years. After a frustrating stay at Benfica, the Brazilian full back will return to Barcelona this summer. It looks as if French side Nantes are interested in taking him on loan.
