Amor insists Napoli is not an easy Champions League draw for Barcelona

"They're a difficult team to face, they've just changed their coach with Gattuso coming in."

Guillermo Amor, Javier Bordas, Amador Bernabéu, Éric Abidal and Bellver were Barcelona's representatives in Nyon for Monday's Champions League draw.

The Spanish champions were paired with Italian side Napoli, with the first leg taking place in Italy at the end of February and the second leg at Camp Nou in March.

"All opponents are tough at this stage," director of institutional relations Amor said. "It would be disrespectful to say one team is easier than the other or you'd prefer one team or another. It's a great city to play in. They're a difficult team to face, they've just changed their coach with Gattuso coming in."

On the coach change, with Catlos Ancelotti sacked, Amor added: "Now it would be different, but in two months' time (Gattuso) will have had time to transmit his ideas. We will go there with the idea of getting a good result and finishing the job off in Barcelona."

Napoli's main weapon is their San Paolo home, which has a reputation for being a tough place to visit. "I've always said it's preferable to to play at a full stadium where there's a lot of noise," Amor said. "The players prefer that to a cold stadium, although it can also work against you and push the opposition on."

Finally, on the Diego Maradona link between the two clubs, he said: "He's a God there but we hope that Messi can be decisive and play as he always does."
