The Barça midfielder will announce his new club this week

Andres Iniesta will announce his next move this week after leaving Barcelona and is expected to sign for Japanese side Vissel Kobe.

According to German newspaper Express, the 34-year-old midfielder will receive 15 million euros net per season at the club owned by Barça sponsor Rakuten.

If confirmed, Iniesta will link up in Japan with former Germany international Lukas Podolski, who is delighted at the idea of sharing a dressing room with the Spain international.

"Iniesta is a great player," the former Arsenal man said. "All teams want a player like that in their team. He could go wherever he wanted and he would be welcome in any part of the world.

"If he comes, it would be great. Playing with players like him is a great incentive. To have him as a teammate would be incredible for me. We've played against each other before so I know him well."
