Barça vs. Roma in women's Champions League to be played at Camp Nou

| FC Barcelona

The second leg will be played in Barcelona; the first leg in Rome

Barça, after sweeping through the group stage of the women's Champions League, will face Roma in the quarter-finals. A match that, as has become common in the competition, will be played at Camp Nou.

After defeating Rosengard 6-0 and Bayern 3-0 at Camp Nou, the Blaugrana will return to the stadium, where they are still undefeated after four matches.

The one they could not play at Camp Nou this season was the match against Benfica, also in the group stage of the competition, as the men's team had to play a day earlier.

The first leg will be played in Rome on Tuesday 21 March at 21:00, while the return leg will be played at the Catalan giants' home on Wednesday 29 March at 18:45.

Record to beat

Against Bayern, Barça beat the record for the highest attendance in a group stage match with 46,967 and the record to beat for a women's game is the 91,648 who watched the Barça-Wolfsburg semifinal last season.

The number of fans who came to the stadium in the quarterfinal vs. Real Madrid (91,553) will be very difficult to beat, as the home ground is missing part of the third tier due to the start of the construction of the new Spotify Camp Nou.

It is still possible, though, as the stadium currently has 95,877 seats, part of which will be reserved for rival fans.
