Barça were inferior to the Italian side throughout the 90 minutes and sit bottom of the group having lost their opening two games -- the first to Borussia Dortmund.
Oristanio was the star for Inter and he gave them the lead in the first half with a stunning free-kick after Barca goalkeeper had already made two fine saves to keep the score goalless.
Valdes turned to his bench at half-time, brining on Ilaix Moriba and Sergi Rosanas, and the hosts pushed for an equaliser. Ilaix tried to make things happen but there were few real chances.
Instead, Inter ended up running away with the game. Gianelli added their second and Colombini crowned a fine away performance with a late third from close range.
