How much Jorge Mendes will make from Joao Felix's Atletico move
The super agent will take a huge cut of the 120 million euro deal
As we revealed earlier on Monday, Joao Felix is in Madrid to finalise his move to Atletico Madrid. The 19-year-old will join Diego Simeone's side from Benfica in exchange for 120 million euros, the amount the club will make from Antoine Griezmann's departure in the coming weeks. The player will earn around six million euros net per season.
One of the people to do the best out of the deal is the forward's agents, Jorge Mendes. He stands to pocket around 30 percent of the transfer fee, a total of 36 million euros.
Atletico have beaten Manchester City to the signing of the youngster, one of Europe's most highly rated players coming through at the moment. He scored 20 goals and set up 11 more last season in 43 appearances for Benfica.
