Antoine Griezmann 'asking' for what he's owed after salary cut
The French forward is said to want the money he was owed before he moves to Atletico
The Antoine Griezmann - Saul Niguez swap deal is in negotiations at the moment. It’s a tricky one to land with so many moving pieces.
And in that sense, Alex Silvestre announced a news story on El Chiringuito last night, saying that Griezmann could make a big economic demand of Barcelona.
“Negotiations between Griezmann and Barca are positive. The club asked some players to lower their salaries because of Covid. Griezmann asked for what he was missing. He was owed that money in six years, except in the case of the player’s sale, when they will have to pay what they owe totally before he leaves.”
Barcelona will have to see if this is something they can negotiate over.
