Sergio Ramos fires back at final failure Jurgen Klopp
The defender lashed out at the Liverpool boss as the war of words continued
After Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp called Sergio Ramos “ruthless and brutal” for his foul that injured Mo Salah in the Champions League final Real Madrid won in May, the defender hit back at the German coach.
"I have given my opinion on the matter. I have no intention of hurting a player deliberately,” said Ramos on Tuesday.
“(Klopp) will be wanting to explain not winning the final, but it's not the first that he has lost.
"Some of us have been operating at a very high level for many years - not sure he can say the same. Let Klopp worry about his own players."
Klopp has lost an appalling six out of seven finals in his career as a manager, including the 3-1 defeat in Kiev which saw Madrid win the Champions League for the 13th time.
